hi, I also did it by myself, and provided here steps you may follow. Read all instruction several times - to be confident, prepare firmware SD if you are not on latest and prepare SD cards with retrofit. They, in Toyota, does exactly the same for nice money you may save for your family.

Yes, it's challenging price for additional 3 year updates, but honestly, they do not update maps or they do not care.
A lot of roads, streets are still missing at least in Czech republic (including Prague). One of my fresh experience: instead navigating at highway I'm navigated over villages.
I guess, they can be accurate for 2010, and are faaar from accurate like another software are (Sygic, TomTom, ...).

I did retrofit upgrade of MM17 of Corolla 2019 1.8 HEV without problem as I reported here earlier. There is no need to buy MM19. It's just a software (communication protocol), not a HW you need for AA

I see another candidate for navigation. Sygic will join Android Auto soon: link

Hello all. I did retrofit yesterday on Corolla 2019 (MM17). Even if I experienced Red screen with USB3 I repeated:
- software upgrade of all DCU/MEU to latest by USB2 (menu/settings/...) + restart;
- "System Replicate" by USB1 + restart;
- USB3 - now it went well + restart;
- testing USB2 for possible upgrade of MEU/DCU (menu/settings/...) + restart;
- i tried here again USB1 - but no reaction seen;
Old:
DCU: 17TDT1EU-DA02
MEU: 17TMT2EU-FA00
New:
DCU: 17TDT1EU-DA30 1075
MEU: 17TMT2EU-FA10 1140
(i formatted 200GB and 64GB microSD to FAT32 (by free AOMEI Partition Assistant), creating only 32GB partition on them - just to be on safe side. thank you for all experience and information here provided, even if I had to download USB1/2/3 from another then streamtechdoc.toyota-motor-europe.com source)
